Different Types

There are so many different kinds of cheesecakes. You can choose from any of the following: a flavor of cheesecake, chocolate, strawberry, or lemon. Each has its own unique taste, and for many people, that is a big reason to pick them over others. These unique cheesecakes have a simple process, but still, have enough work to them to make them a bit of a challenge.

First, you have to start with some of the most basic ingredients. These include the Graham cracker crust, cream cheese, butter, sugar, and eggs. With these ingredients, you can easily build the shell of your cheesecake.

The Graham cracker crust needs to be thin, but not too thin. To start with, you will want to grease a shallow pan about the same size as the cake, and spread a layer of melted butter on the bottom of the pan. Be sure that the butter does not touch the sides of the pan.

Cream Spread

Spread the cream cheese on the Graham cracker crust, followed by the butter. If you want, you can now add the sugar, and finally, if you like, sprinkle with the vanilla extract. Cover the bottom of the pan with plastic wrap, and allow it to rest for about half an hour.

While the cake is resting, you can now slice it into pieces. If you are adding an additional ingredient, then simply place it on top of the cheesecake before cooking it. This lets you also use less of the topping, which will make it easier to eat.

When you remove the plastic wrap from the bottom of the pan, you will now need to put the cheesecake into a water bath, which makes the preparation easier. Place the pan into a pan filled with hot water, and then run a long skewer into the middle of the cheesecake. Slowly pull the skewer out of the bottom of the pan, and you will see the water below starts to boil.

Remove Cheesecake

When the water has boiled, you can remove the cheesecake from the water, and place it into an omelet pan. Use your hands to push the edges of the omelet into the center of the cheesecake, but be careful not to overwork the edges of the omelet. You will then need to pull the omelet out of the pan.

If you need to adjust the consistency of the cheesecake, you can cook it by placing it in the oven for several minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Once it comes out of the oven, immediately remove it from the oven and remove the cover. Allow it to cool completely. The cooling process should only take a few minutes, so you should have no problem cooling the cake at that time.

When the cheesecake has cooled, you can then cut into slices. You will want to get the slices as close together as possible and avoid overdoing it. You will also want to make sure that the cheesecake has enough room to cook from the inside out. Do not be afraid to let the edges come up a bit, and let the cheesecake cook until the middle becomes firm.

Bottom Line

A New York Cheesecake will keep for several days in the refrigerator, and this makes it perfect for parties. Make sure that you make enough for everyone and make sure that everyone eats all of it. Then, you can enjoy the dessert that you’ve worked so hard on!

No matter what you choose to call it, this is a great gourmet desserts. Enjoy!
